- Victoria Richardson
- Sarah Margetts-Cooke
Victoria studied at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic graduating with a Masters degree in Chiropractic in 2006. Since graduating she has worked in clinics within Hampshire, as well as offering home visits. In March 2009 Victoria took over Hedge End Chiropractic clinic.
Since leaving college she has completed a post-graduate certificate in chiropractic, as well as courses in dry needling (a western form of acupuncture) and rehabilitation. She enjoys treating a wide range of ages and conditions using specific treatment plans tailored for each individuals' needs. Treatment methods used include: manipulation, mobilisation, myofascial dry needling, soft-tissue work and blocking. Rehabilitation of the affected area is encouraged, as well as postural and lifestyle advice in order to prevent further problems in the future.
Sarah qualified as a nurse in 2000 and it was during her training that she discovered chiropractic care after sustaining a neck injury. As a result of this, she decided that this was where she could make a difference to other people in pain and embarked on a further 5 years of study, to finally graduate from the Anglo-European collage of Chiropractic in 2010 with a masters degree.
During her time at the college Sarah has treated a wide variety of patients, from 2-week-old babies to a 95-year-old lady. Since qualifying she has undertaken further training in dry needling, rehabilitation and care during pregnancy and paediatrics. She has also worked with local sports teams, treating a variety of sporting injuries. Sarah uses a wide range of treatment modalities, including manipulation, myofascial tools and release techniques, mobilisation, massage, blocking and rehabilitation exercises.
